April 2020 – New Releases
So it goes without saying – if you are reading this…then you are like us! You probably have about 5 different wish lists on your Amazon page (or whatever platform you use) including a sneaky wishlist of all the books coming out that you cannot wait to buy!
Don’t deny it – embrace your book obsession!
Here’s one thing you should know – we are complete opposites when it comes to knowing about new releases.
Kayleigh has some sort of weird spidey senses for knowing when books are due out; she claims it is because she basically has signed up to every single publishers newsletter out there, but DAYUM the woman is prepared!
Tish on the other hand can barely figure out whats coming out in 2020 let alone each month! She relies on Kayleigh to rave about them on her insta stories and then Tish goes and buys them – No joke! Tish unashamedly uses Kayleigh haha
In honour of some fantastic releases gracing our shelves in 2020, we have put together our Top 10 most anticipated releases – a.k.a which ones we are buying! haha

Brett Wells has it all. As captain of the football team and one of the most popular guys in his school, he should have no problem finding someone to date, but he’s always been more focused on his future than who to bring to prom.
When he overhears Becca’s lie, Brett decides to step in and be the mystery guy. It’s the perfect solution: he gets people off his back for not having a meaningful relationship and she can keep up the ruse that she’s got a boyfriend. Acting like the perfect couple isn’t easy, though, especially when you barely know the other person.“

Chosen Ones by Veronica Roth
“A decade ago, five teenagers defeated the otherworldly enemy known as the Dark One, whose reign of terror brought widespread destruction and death. The seemingly un-extraordinary teens—Sloane, Matt, Ines, Albie, and Esther—had been brought together by a clandestine government agency because one of them was fated to be the “Chosen One,” prophesized to save the world. With the goal achieved, humankind celebrated the victors and began to mourn their lost loved ones.
Ten years later, though the champions remain celebrities, the world has moved forward and a whole, younger generation doesn’t seem to recall the days of endless fear. But Sloane remembers. Unlike everyone else, she hasn’t moved on; she’s adrift—no direction, no goals, no purpose. On the eve of the Ten Year Celebration of Peace, a new trauma hits the Chosen: the death of one of their own. And when they gather for the funeral, they discover to their horror that the Dark One’s reign never really ended.“

What I Like About You by Marisa Kanter
“He’s an incredibly talented graphic novelist. He loves books almost as much as she does. And she never has to deal with the awkwardness of seeing him in real life. They can talk about anything… Except who she really is.
Because online, Halle isn’t Halle–she’s Kels, the enigmatically cool creator of One True Pastry, a YA book blog that pairs cupcakes with covers and reviews. Kels has everything Halle doesn’t: friends, a growing platform, tons of confidence, and Nash.
If Halle tells him who she is, it will ruin the non-awkward magic of their digital friendship. Not telling him though, means it can never be anything more. Because while she starts to fall for Nash as Halle…he’s in love with Kels.”
